Day 1: Arrival at NJP/Siliguri/Bagdogra Airport – Phuentsholing
Kuzu zangpo la! Welcome to Bhutan! Upon arrival at NJP/Siliguri/Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Phuentsholing. Enjoy a delightful Bhutanese dinner en route and settle into your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu
After a refreshing breakfast, complete the necessary formalities for your Bhutan travel permit. Then, embark on a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, known for its pleasant climate, picturesque hills, and charming monasteries. Enjoy a cozy dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing
Start your day with a lavish breakfast before exploring Thimphu’s cultural landmarks. Visit the Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal, the takin. Next, admire the National Memorial Chorten, dedicated to the third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Tour Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the Bhutanese government, and the Folk Heritage Museum, showcasing traditional Bhutanese life. Don’t miss the towering Buddha Dordenma statue. Conclude your day with shopping at the National Handicrafts Museum and capturing panoramic views from BBS Tower. Return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha
After an early breakfast, travel to Punakha via the scenic Dochu La Pass. At 3,088 meters, the pass offers stunning views of Himalayan peaks and features chortens and prayer flags. Visit the historic Punakha Dzong, strategically located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. In the afternoon, explore Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility, known for its blessings for childless couples. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 5: Punakha
Begin the day with a hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, built to promote peace and harmony. Enjoy panoramic views of the Punakha Valley and Mo Chu River. After lunch, visit Wangdue Phodrang and explore the historic dzong, named after a boy the Shabdrung encountered. Return to Punakha for the night.

Day 6: Punakha – Paro
Travel to Paro, home to over 150 monasteries and temples. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, and the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, a fortress withstood by time. Explore the National Museum in Ta Dzong, housing an extensive collection of artifacts, tools, and traditional attire. Overnight in Paro.

Day 7: Paro – Phuentsholing
Enjoy breakfast before transferring to Phuentsholing. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the city.

Day 8: Departure from NJP Station/Bagdogra Airport
